The Book of Liberty
The Book of Liberty
The Book of Liberty was written in the aftermath of relationships that left deep emotional and spiritual wounds. What began as a personal attempt to make sense of pain has since proven itself through experience, offering a simple and enduring call to live a life rooted in Freedom and Love.
The book opens with a series of affirmations in the name of God/the Holy, reassuring the reader that you cannot be separated from its loving presence, no matter what anyone else has told you. From there, we are invited to meet God/the Holy in the world, in our day-to-day lives, and even in our dreams. When we begin to acknowledge this unconditionally loving reality in each moment, everything starts to change, and the work of healing and reconciliation begins.
The book does not replace sacred texts, but offers a lens through which they may be read.
When working as a chaplain in hospice, I saw how grounding our lives in Love powerfully transformed the experience of dying, which led me to write a spiritual guide.
