Meditate on the plant.

A plant will grow despite everything happening around it.

Whatever needs, joys, and sorrows are present, 

the plant will go on with the business of being a plant.

Change the soil, water it, feed it, and prune it.

Plants need sunlight.

Plants do not need to be taught how to grow; they just do.

Most of the time a plant will appear to be doing nothing.

One day we notice something has changed.

New growth we haven’t seen before.

Celebrate the new growth.

The plant keeps growing anyway. 

It always does.
