1. The daemonic is seen and experienced in the world when we become divided in ourselves, divided from God/the Holy, and divided from each other. 

2. The daemon is in pain, suffering, and out of control. This is manifested in its behaviour. 

3. Great pain is inflicted on others by the daemon. 

4. They are hurting and they hurt others. 

5. A daemonic presence will use pain to self-soothe. 

6. The daemon puts the desire to self-soothe first without thinking of how this will affect others. 

7. Befriend the daemon in the name of Love. 

8. Do not engage with the daemon in any other way. 

9. Love reveals the true nature of the daemon. 

10. Daemonic influences are countered through the Way of Love. 

11. Love resists fear of losing power and control in the presence of a daemon. 

12. Refuse to grant anything that is not grounded in Unconditional Love the status of absolute authority in your life and the world. 

13. Respond to daemonic provocation with silence grounded in prayer. 

14. Maintain this prayerful connection to God/the Holy through the Way of Unconditional Love. 

15. Allow nothing to tempt you away from the Love of God/the Holy. 

16. The daemonic revels in its own self-importance and will tell you many things about itself and your life that are intended to regain a lost sense of power and control. 

17. Counter its lies with the resolute silence of your own Truth before God/the Holy.
