Many people are unaware of the subtle influence certain religious teachings can have on how they see themselves and others. Ideas such as original sin, the belief that humanity is inherently corrupt, can quietly chip away at self-confidence and impact one's sense of identity, relationships, and overall emotional well-being. When these influences are recognised and set aside, space opens for healing, freedom, and a renewed sense of purpose and dignity. We help people do this restorative work.

My experience of fundamentalist religion and my personal journey of recovery from narratives grounded in guilt, shame, fear, and judgment became the foundation of this publishing project, offered to help others walk a similar path. The hope is that people may rediscover a life rooted in Love, Joy, Peace, and Freedom. 

Some of these experiences are recorded in the narrative, “Beyond Fundamentalism: My Story of Recovery,” found in the Liberated Life Commentary on Acts and part of the Religious Detox Kit.
